HUNT ON TO TRACE BEAR

A hunt is on to trace the bear which entered patta lands near ariyapppapuram village in nangunerj taluk and caused panic among the people on satur day 
The coordinated efforts of forest officials and police to tranquillise the wild animal failed on saturday as the animal attacked the search team and managed to escape
The combing operation was
on with the participation of 24 persons including wildlife officials antipoaching watchers and volunteers
A 25sqkm area around the spot where the bear was sighted was covered the team found foot prints of the bear at therkku nellaiappapuram an anti poaching watcher and a veterinary doctor who sustained injuries during their efforts to net the animal were under going treatment
